RBD COCONUT OIL

RBD refers to the process of refining, bleaching, and deodorizing coconut oil. RBD oil does not have the characteristic coconut Flavor and aroma generally seen in coconut oil.

ROSUN’s unique RBD processing at GMP, ISO and USDA ORGANIC certified facilities ensures consistent and quality controlled production.

ROSUN’s coconut oils are perfect for daily home use as well as for commercial applications. RBD oil is used in cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries as well.

ROSUN’s RBD oils are extracted from dried coconut, which is extruded. The RBD unique process removes all extraneous matter, odor, smell, and color of the oil.

Coconut oil is accepted as one the healthiest oils. Coconut oil is rich in medium-chain fatty acids (MCFAs) or medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) unlike the majority of fats and oils from animal or plant sources have long-chain fatty acids (LCFAs).

Our body processes these fatty acids differently based on its size. The biological effects of MCFA in coconut oil are entirely different from those of LCFAs. RBD coconut oil has medium chain fatty acids (MCFAs) which are rapidly used up by the body for energy and are less likely to be stored as fat. MCFAs have been attributed to lower the incidence of atherosclerosis and heart diseases.

Medium-chain triglycerides have been reported to be potential agents in the prevention of obesity as well. People on diets with MCTs have found an increase in energy, rise in metabolism, decrease in food consumption, lower body fat mass, and reduce body weight. Coconut oil is better alternative to other oils and fats for weight management.

Many studies report when oils containing MCTs are used instead of oils in the diet, people can lose much pounds a year despite the total calorie consumption remaining the same.

The only natural sources of MCTs are the coconut and palm kernel oils. Coconut oil comprises mainly of beneficial MCTs.
